It was the Patterson High volleyball team’s Senior Night, but the Hilmar Yellowjackets made their Monday, Nov. 2, match memorable.

Hilmar used four games to subdue the Tigers in a clash of Western Athletic Conference foes, claiming victory 25-20, 21-25, 25-21, 25-21.

The Patterson team (5-10-0 WAC, 6-14-0 overall) hoped it could shake a trend of three losses in its previous four matches entering Monday’s tilt with Hilmar.

Instead, the Tigers settled for taking one game in the match against the Yellowjackets (8-7-0, 15-14-1).

Before the match, Patterson honored its senior athletes — Christine Bays, Amber Bond, Hailey Hohl, Jayme Hansen and Manpreet Grewal — for their commitment to the program.
