Raffle to support skate park

The city of Patterson, the Tony Hawk Foundation and United Skates of America Board Shop are ramping up efforts to raise funds for a new local skate park.

Raffle tickets are available for $5 from City Hall, 1 Plaza, or United Skates, 24 Ossie St., until Oct. 31, with prizes to include sweatshirts, hats, sticker packs and lanyards from Bones, Fallen, Mystery, Brixton or Hawk.

Grand prize winners can take home a new Powell or Zero skateboard.

Winners will be chosen at the Fall Family Festival on Oct. 31. All proceeds will go to the Patterson Skate Park.
